BeforeLeap separates the financial information entered into a tool from the ordinary technical requests needed to deliver a public website.
Calculator and report information
Resetting or closing the page clears application state. A downloaded PDF is a local file controlled by the user and may contain sensitive financial information; store and share it accordingly.
- Financial inputs remain in browser memory.
- Calculations run client-side without a calculator API.
- The selected plan is held only in in-memory React state.
- The three-page PDF is generated locally in the browser.
- No account or application database stores financial inputs.
- Raw financial values are not placed in page URLs.
Site delivery and request information
Like other public websites, hosting and network infrastructure may process ordinary request metadata needed to serve pages, such as IP address, browser information, requested path, timestamps, and diagnostic or security data. This is distinct from the financial values entered into the calculator.
Analytics and advertising
When configured, BeforeLeap uses Plausible Analytics for page and product-usage measurement. BeforeLeap sends only a fixed set of validated funnel event names—never calculator state, raw financial inputs, currency, report content, filenames, or error text. BeforeLeap does not set analytics cookies or use browser storage for this measurement. When Plausible is not configured, its script is not loaded.
Google AdSense may serve advertising only when ad serving is explicitly enabled and complete publisher and slot configuration is present. A publisher-verification meta tag alone does not load ads. When serving is enabled, Google may process ordinary device, request, and advertising information under its policies, and privacy or consent messages may appear where required. Raw BeforeLeap financial inputs are not passed to Google as ad properties.
Optional support and Stripe
If Support BeforeLeap is enabled, selecting it opens an external Stripe-hosted payment page. Stripe processes payment, customer, device, and request information under its own policies. BeforeLeap's calculator and site code do not receive card details.
Support is optional and independent from the planning tool. Calculator financial inputs, results, selected plans, currency, and report information are not added to or sent through the support link.
